GHA Europe® Srl was founded in 2004 within the Remet Group, a Bologna-based company that has been operating since 1970 and has established itself as a leader in the metallography and materials analysis sector. GHA Europe® Srl was established following the acquisition of the license, valid throughout the European Community, for Japanese patent no. EP1207220. We have been anodizing aluminum alloys for over 20 years, with treatments ranging from natural anodic oxidation and hard anodic oxide to GHA® anodic oxidation . Our attention to detail and constant pursuit of quality and innovation have allowed us to establish ourselves in the light alloy treatment sector and become strategic partners of leading companies in the mechanical and packaging sectors. All this was also possible thanks to our special GHA® treatment , which consists of anodizing the aluminum, with thicknesses ranging from 5 to 200 µm, followed by sealing the microporosities with silver ions (Ag + ). The treatment is suitable for an infinite number of applications, from the packaging industry to healthcare accessories, from general mechanical engineering to the naval and automotive sectors. The most important advantages of the treatment are related to the high resistance to abrasive wear, the anti-corrosion, anti-leaching and antibacterial properties. Thanks to ionic silver, the treatment has bactericidal efficacy against the most common and dangerous bacteria, even in the most extreme conditions. Due to all these unique characteristics, our technology has already been adopted by major Italian and international companies such as IMA SpA , GD,  Tetra Pak , Ing. Polin SpA , JAC , GEA Group , TMC SpA, and many others.
